Final Four Fun!!!
What luck that the Women’s Division I Final Four was held in San Diego at USD’s campus this year…just down the road from our winter home-office, making this Directors’ Tour stop an easy one!
Friday night was uncharacteristically cold and rainy in San Diego, but we bundled up Baby Ever and made our way to the games. Penn State beat Florida State 2-1 in the first two minutes of OT; while UNC ousted Stanford 1-0 in double-OT.
Then on Sunday afternoon, we headed back to USD to witness UNC win their 21st NCAA championship over Penn State, 4-1.
Maybe we’ll make it to the 2013 College Cup in Cary, NC next December to see if the Heels can defend their title!
