Session IV: July 16-20, 2017
A Player Development Camp for Competitive Athletes
When the USWNT players were asked about the toughest competition they faced en route to the 2015 World Cup Championship, many cited the team’s intra-squad scrimmages. Training against quality competition is one of the most effective ways to gain confidence and improve. With that in mind, in 2016, we created the Berkshire Invitational. It was an overwhelming success, and we are delighted to offer another invitational session in 2017
Yael Averbuch will be returning to the Academy for the third year as Visiting Pro. Yael embodies the focus and hard work required to perform at the highest level of soccer. She has a competitive edge to her training that each athlete attending the Invitational desires. Her drive to achieve was nurtured during her club soccer days in NJ as well as her time playing under legendary UNC Women’s Soccer coach Anson Dorrance.
The most competitive girls soccer players, rising 6th-11th will come together during Session IV (July 16-20th) to live and train together. Athletes receive high-level soccer training, while enjoying the balance and beauty that the Berkshire Soccer Academy has to offer, including:
