Sunday: Soccer Camp Arrival

Thank you families for making Session IV Arrival Day a smooth one. We are excited for the week ahead?

Opening Campfire

Campers had a blast meeting their coaches for the week during their first soccer training session. Soon, it was time to switch gears and have fun at electives.  Later in the evening, it was time for our opening campfire. Staff shared a variety of skits, songs, and games. The goal of the night is to relax the campers and show them that Berky is a safe place to develop on and off the field. Later in the week, the girls will share their own contributions as a cabin at the ‘Hoedown Throwdown’ themed Closing Campfire.

Monday: Starting Soccer Training and Electives

The girls had a fantastic time Monday morning participating in the many different electives we offer before they headed to the fields for their first training session of the day.

Cabin Cup

After lunch, it was time for more fun at electives and soccer. Later that evening, Campers came together as bunkmates to swap trading cards around camp for the one and only…Cabin Cup (ahhhh! 🙌) . This week’s theme was “Berky Swap.” Check out all the pictures using the SmugMug link below!

Tuesday: Player Development at Berky Tourney

Campers spent Tuesday morning developing on the field with our coaches. Soon after, it was time for morning electives.

 Berky Tourney

Campers had the chance participate in electives before the weather turned sour after dinner. Berky Tourney was cancelled for the evening, but, not to worry – as Wednesday looks like a beautiful day to play!

Wednesday: Girls Soccer Training and (S’)more

Players spent the morning on the soccer fields learning new skills from our coaches. During elective time, they got to hone other new skills, relax, and bond with new friends!

Closing Campfire

Our campers finally got to participate in the Berky Tourney! This week’s theme was “Creepy Cup” and the girls played their hearts out. Soon after, it was time for campers to step on stage and performed together at tonight’s “Hoe Down Throw Down” themed Closing Campfire. Campers and staff alike were treated to skits, songs, and plenty of laughs… And s’mores were on the menu too! Delish!

Thursday: Final Training Sessions & Electives

Campers enjoyed the last of their electives and soccer training sessions of the week with their coaches and counselors. Each Cabin also had the chance to join at the Moose for an all-cabin photo.

Soccer Camp Departure

Session IV has come to a close. Thank you families for making departure day a smooth one! We are sad to say goodbye but hope to see all of our campers again soon. Check out all the photos from the week using the SmugMug link below.

Bridge D

After a solid week of training, the campers traded their cleats for life jackets for a fun day of whitewater rafting. On Saturday, the girls slept in and enjoyed a laid-back day of electives onsite.

Bridges are designed to connect sessions and give athletes recovery time after or between sessions to optimize peak performance, avoid overexertion, and bond with other campers. Read more about the development of our bridge program and how it’s helping future athletes succeed.
