Sunday: Soccer Camp Arrival

Thank you to our Berky families for making Arrival Day a smooth one. The girls watched the USA vs Netherlands game after parents departed, followed by their first training session and first round of electives in the afternoon.

Opening Campfire

In the evening, the staff shared a variety of skits, songs and games at the Opening Campfire. The goal of the night is to relax the campers and show them that Berky is a safe place to develop on and off the field. By the end of the session, campers will be asked to share their own contributions as a cabin at this week’s superhero-themed Closing Campfire.

Monday: Starting Soccer Training and Electives

Players spent the morning on the soccer fields learning new skills from our coaches. During elective time, they got to hone other new skills, relax, and bond with new friends!

Cabin Cup

Campers came together as bunk mates to compete for the one and only…Cabin Cup (ahhhh!) in Berky’s Amazing Race. Be sure to check out our pictures of all the craziness and fun that ensued.

Tuesday: Player Development at Berky

The morning saw the girls at soccer training before enjoying their elective. Players also got a chance to reflect on today’s mental skill, Care, as they debriefed with their coaches.

Berky Tourney

Campers watched from the campfire as staff announced the teams for the Berky Tournament. In the evening, the girls gathered at the fields. They came together to compete in the “Disney Cup,” this week’s tourney. Check out photos of the teams and festivities using the link below!

Wednesday: Girls Soccer Training and (S’)more

Campers spent the morning on the soccer fields for another high energy training session.

Closing Campfire

The girls stepped on stage and performed together at tonight’s “Winter in July” themed Closing Campfire. Campers and staff alike were treated to skits, songs, and plenty of laughs… And s’mores were on the menu too! Delish!

Thursday: Final Training Sessions & Electives

What a memorable week it has been! Each cabin and the whole camp met at the Moose for pictures. Check out all of our group photos using the SmugMug link below. Goodbyes are hard, but we hope to see everyone again soon!

Soccer Camp Departure

After a fun-filled week, Session IV has drawn to a close. The campers enjoyed their last training session of the week with their coaches. They were able to squeeze in a little more time at their favorite electives too.

Bridge D

After a solid week of training, the campers traded their cleats for life jackets and took to Deerfield Fife Brook for whitewater rafting. The girls enjoyed having the day off from training which helped them recover.
