Session I with TeamFirst

Session I with TeamFirst (Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, and Tisha Venturini)

TeamFirst (Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, and Tisha Venturini Hoch) returned to the Berkshire Soccer Academy for their 9th year to offer a once-in-a-lifetime overnight soccer camp experience. They, along with University of Texas Women’s Head Coach Ange Kelly led on-field training and a soccer tournament during Session I. TeamFirst helps girls cultivate a sense of self-worth in order to reach their full potential in life. Athletes come to TeamFirst to learn, work, compete, and have fun, and to play with love and respect for the game.

Sunday: Soccer Camp Arrival

Thank you to the families for making Arrival Day a smooth one. The girls started their day meeting their cabinmates and counselors while enjoying some fun games (fun games) on the rec deck.

Opening Campfire

Campers had a great first soccer session on Sunday Afternoon. They then spent some time trying out some of the many electives we offer In the evening, the campers gathered around the Campfire for a Q&A Session with TeamFirst. Following the Q&A, staff shared a variety of skits and songs at the opening campfire. The goal of the night was to relax the campers and show them that Berky is a safe place to develop on and off the field. By the end of the session, campers will be asked to share their own contributions as a cabin at this week’s “Gold Rush” themed closing Campfire.

Soccer Camp Departure

Session I has drawn to a close. Thank you parents and families for making Departure Day a smooth one! Goodbyes are hard, but we hope to see our campers again soon!

Bridge A

Due to weather, we had to make some last minute changes to Bridge A. Campers enjoyed the day at a trampoline park and then went to the cinema to catch a movie. Saturday was spent in-camp where campers had the chance to participate in special Bridge electives.

Bridges are designed to connect sessions and give athletes recovery time after or between sessions to optimize peak performance, avoid overexertion, and bond with other campers. Read more about the development of our bridge program and how it’s helping future athletes succeed.

Bridge Availability

Would you like to offer your camper an extended stay? The Bridge Program includes a Mountain Adventure Park, sleep-in mornings, and a relaxed day at camp to have fun with new friends. You may add a Bridge on Arrival Day or by emailing office@berkshiresocceracademy.com as late as Wednesday, provided there is still availability.
