The safety and well-being of every athlete is our number one priority. Our food service and health care are top notch.
Health Center & Staff
The Academy’s Health & Wellness Center is stocked with necessary equipment and supplies. The Health Center includes an examination room and a comfortable “resting room” for girls who need to rest and recuperate away from the other campers for a few hours or overnight.
Our medical staff includes two registered RN’s, and 1-2 certified Athletic Trainers. We also have a physician on call. The Health Staff live on-site and are available 24-7.
Before each camp session, our health staff reviews every athlete’s health history and medication needs. All personal medication is stored in the Health Center and distributed by the nurses at mealtimes or bedtime.
Our certified Athletic Trainers are on the field during every soccer session and provide pre and post-training treatments. An air-conditioned Training Room is located in the Pavilion adjacent to the soccer fields. Athletes can receive treatment, get taped, address injuries, and ice-sore muscles in the AT’s office.
Dining Experience
Athletes and staff enjoy mealtimes in our beautiful lakeside Dining Hall, the covered Dining Hall deck and the adjacent picnic areas. We offer a well-balanced menu of camp favorites that include tasty, protein-based entrees accompanied by a variety of side dishes.
We serve wholesome, all-natural products. Breakfast features hot buffet choices. Breakfast, lunch and dinner always include a fruit bar that features a rotating selection of in-season fruits like strawberries, melon and apples. Lunch and dinner always include a full salad bar and pasta options. We also offer a healthy evening snack.
Healthy snacks like fresh fruits and vegetables, granola bars, and iced treats are provided mid-morning and afternoon. We also offer occasional indulgences, like ice cream, homemade desserts, and s’mores at the campfire, of course!
