Sunday: Soccer Camp Arrival

Thank you to the families for making Arrival Day a smooth one. We are so excited for a great week!

Opening Campfire

The girls were eager to get started on the fields this afternoon. After a great first training session, they had the opening campfire to look forward to in the evening. The staff shared a variety of skits, songs and games at the opening campfire. The goal of the night is to relax the campers and show them that Berky is a safe place to develop on and off the field. Later in the week, the girls will share their own contributions as a cabin to the closing campfire.

Monday: Starting Soccer Training and Electives

We’ve had nothing but beautiful weather so far this week! Players spent the morning on the soccer fields learning new skills from our coaches. Afterwards, they were off to their electives.

Cabin Cup

Campers came together as bunk mates to compete for the one and only…Cabin Cup (ahhhh!). This week, they made a splash in the Aqua Olympics. Catch all the action shots on SmugMug using the link below.

Tuesday: Player Development at Berky

The weather held out for another beautiful morning of soccer training for the girls before they were off to enjoy their electives.

Berky Tourney

After a fun-filled afternoon of electives, the campers gathered at the fields in the evening. They came together to compete in this week’s Disney-themed Berky Tournament. Check out photos of the teams and festivities using the link below!

Wednesday: Girls Soccer Training and (S’)more

Campers spent the morning on the soccer fields for another high energy training session. Afterwards, the girls were off to electives. Some chose to turn up the heat at cooking, and others cooled off at the lake with our inflatable aqua playground.

Closing Campfire

After a rainy start to the evening, the skies cleared just in time for our final campfire of the summer. Campers stepped on stage and performed together at tonight’s Closing Campfire. Campers and staff alike were treated to skits, songs, and plenty of laughs… And s’mores were on the menu too! Delish!

Thursday: Final Training Sessions & Electives

Each cabin and the whole camp met at the Moose for pictures. Check out the SmugMug link below to see all the group photos. The campers enjoyed their last training session of the week with their coaches. They were able to squeeze in a little more time at their favorite electives too.

Soccer Camp Departure

After a fun-filled week, Session VIII has drawn to a close. We’re sad to say goodbye, but we hope to see all of our campers again soon! The campers enjoyed their last training session of the week with their coaches. They were able to squeeze in a little more time at their favorite electives too.

Bridge G

Campers enjoyed their Bridge trip to Lake Compounce Amusement Park in Bristol, CT. Fun fact: Lake Compounce, which opened in 1846, is the oldest continuously operating amusement park in the United States. (Oooh – Ahhh!)
