Meet Your 2026 Cabin Counselors

Our Cabin Counselors impact Berky campers beyond the soccer field and the activity areas.

Each cabin of 8-14 campers typically houses one Assistant Soccer Coach and one Elective Staff member. This gives the girls the opportunity to build relationships and bond with both soccer and elective staff members.  Our cabin counselors work together to supervise and support their campers. They are essential mentors and positive role models, promoting friendships and fun and encouraging positive group interactions and cohesion. They also ensure campers keep the cabins organized during daily cabin clean-up. All cabin counselors are 18 years or older.

Our Res Life Team oversees all aspects of cabin life and camper well-being. They work alongside our health staff and cabin counselors to ensure that campers feel safe, supported and have fun during their time at Berky.

Res Life Group Courage

Lily is super excited to return to Berky for her 5th summer as Res Life Leader for Courage. She has a Bachelor’s in International History and Politics, and a Master’s in International Law. She lives in Liverpool, England, and plays for Liverpool Sefton field hockey club as a goalkeeper.

Fun Facts: Lily loves bears, watching the Boston Bruins, and spending time with her 16-year-old, toothless cat named Harry. 

Courage Cabin Counselors

Lucy is from Southend on Sea, England, and studies Children and Young People’s Nursing at Surrey University. She enjoys staying active through swimming and going to the gym. In her free time, Lucy loves baking and swimming.

Fun facts: She is very tall and this is her first time ever in the USA!

Cecilia is from Geneva, Switzerland, and studies Sports Science at Concordia University. She stays active through playing soccer, and in her free time, she enjoys reading.

Fun Facts: She has a twin and she speaks French fluently!

Grace is from Terrigal, Australia, and will attend the University of New England next year, where she will study Earth and Environmental Science and Management. She enjoys spending her free time reading, crocheting, and playing the drums.

Fun Facts: She is a huge ancient history nerd and has a cat named Jimmy!

Esty is from Manchester, England, and studies General Studies at Central Community College, Nebraska. She enjoys staying active through playing football (soccer), running, and doing all sorts of outdoor and water activities. In her free time, Esty also loves reading.

Fun Facts: She once slept on a mountain and then ate breakfast at the top, and she went to Wembley Stadium for the women’s FA cup final!

Amy is from Troon, Scotland, and studies Interior Design at Edinburgh Napier. She enjoys staying active through gymnastics and paddleboarding. In her free time, Amy loves scrapbooking and walking.

Fun Facts: She has done a bungee jump and she has never broken a bone!

Erin is from Middlesbrough, UK, and studies International Tourism Management with Marketing at Leeds Beckett University. She enjoys staying active through sprinting, netball, and swimming. In her free time, Erin loves reading and doing puzzles.

Fun Facts: If she could have a superpower, she would want to speak every language, and she loves musicals, having seen over 25!

Lily is from Lincolnshire, England, and studies Sports Psychology at the University Campus of Football Business. She stays highly active through soccer and running. In her free time, Lily enjoys spending time at the gym and has a huge passion for musical theatre.

Fun Facts: She has performed in 8 musicals and she loves to travel, with a goal to see the whole world!

Emeline is from New York, USA, and studies Biology and Government at Dartmouth College. At college, she’s involved in club soccer, works at the organic farm, hikes, and skis. In her free time, Emeline loves printmaking, collage, gardening, and being outside.

Fun Facts: Her birthday is on Christmas and she has over fifty plants in her bedroom at home!

Ellie is from Barnsley, England, and studied Sociology & Psychology at the University of Huddersfield. She currently works as a residential support worker in a children’s home.

Fun Facts: Ellie loves going to hockey games with her friends, singing karaoke, and shopping ’til she drops. She has two dogs she loves dearly, Ethel & Dora!

Dash Cabin Counselors

Anais is from Birmingham, England, and is currently on a gap year after finishing her studies in Sports Science. She stays active through playing football and going to the gym. In her free time, Anais also loves reading and has a massive passion for music.

Fun Facts: She has a black belt in kickboxing, and she used to be in a band where she played both the trumpet and the piano!

Abi is from Lytham St Anne’s, England. She stays active by playing soccer for a local team, and in her free time, she enjoys reading and listening to almost any style of music.

Fun Facts: She has only been playing soccer for 2 years after taking a 4-year break!

Gabby is from Edgewater, Maryland, USA, and studies Psychology and Philosophy at Connecticut College. At college, she’s involved in club soccer and is a member of the psychology and philosophy student advisory boards. In her free time, Gabby loves hiking, surfing, spending time in nature, listening to music, drawing, and playing all types of games.

Fun Facts: She is a certified scuba diver and she used to work on a flower farm!

Magnolia is from Arlington, Vermont, and studies Psychology in Maine. She stays active through playing soccer, and in her free time, she loves hiking, singing, and spending time outdoors.

Fun Facts: She has a huge passion for music and theater!

Chelsea is from Jakarta, Indonesia, and studies Psychology with a minor in Family and Human Development at Arizona State University. At university, she stays active by playing intramural soccer. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys reading, playing on her iPad, and hanging out with friends.

Fun Facts: She was a Berky camper in the past and she is ambidextrous, meaning she can play sports with both the left and right side of her body!

Anatu is from Accra, Ghana, and studies Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi. She stays active through playing soccer, and in her free time, she loves taking photos, drawing, sleeping, and singing.

Fun Facts: She was a personal trainer for two years, she is an excellent listener, and while she absolutely loves soccer, she actually hates running!

Res Life Group Spirit

Jodie is returning to camp for her fourth summer and is excited to be the Res Life Leader for Spirit. She has an MA in Sociology, Media and Culture from the University of Leeds in England.

Fun Facts: Jodie enjoys archery competitively, has a dog that she adores and enjoys watching ice hockey in her spare time.

Spirit Cabin Counselors

Maire is from Rocky Hill, CT, and studies Medical Imaging at Rhode Island College. At college, she stays active by participating in track and field. In her free time, Maire loves going to the beach and watching the sunrise and sunset.

Fun Facts: She is a ski instructor and she also knows how to surf!

Jenna is from Glasgow, Scotland, and studies Law at the University of Stirling. She stays active through playing soccer, and in her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her friends, family, and her golden retriever, Teo.

Fun Facts: She ran her first half marathon this past March!

Briley is from Waterbury Center, Vermont, USA, and studies Sports Management at Thomas College, where she stays active by playing soccer and club basketball. In her free time, she enjoys skiing and listening to music.

Fun Facts: She has three sisters and absolutely loves to ski!

Serena is from New Zealand. She stays active through sports, and in her free time, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, playing board games, and solving Rubik’s cubes.

Fun Facts: She can solve a Rubik’s cube and has already visited two Wonders of the World plus one Ancient Wonder!

Jane is from Denver, Colorado, United States, and studies at Tulane University, where she is double-majoring in Psychology and Philosophy. In her free time, she enjoys surfing, writing, painting, skiing, and listening to live music.

Fun Facts: She will be the president of her school’s debate club this year, runs ultramarathons (and even won her last 50k race!), and has traveled to 38 US states, over 10 countries, and more than 20 islands!

Queenie is from Takoradi, Ghana, and studies Psychology at Alabama State University, where she also plays on the women’s soccer team. In her free time, Queenie enjoys singing, dancing, watching K-dramas and C-dramas, and playing squash.

Fun Facts: She absolutely cannot do rollercoasters, and she is a massive fan of K-pop and BTS!

Res Life Group Reign

Sam is from Kirikiriroa-Hamilton, New Zealand. She loves to stay highly active by running, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors. In her free time, she also really enjoys reading and listening to music.

Fun Facts: She was a dancer for 12 years, and is a Zip-Line guide!

Reign Cabin Counselors

Erin is from Huddersfield, United Kingdom. She currently works and stays active through ice skating and running. In her free time, Erin loves traveling, gem art, shopping, and watching rugby.

Fun Facts: She has bungee jumped off a cliff and has solo-traveled around Asia!

Gabriella is from Brighton, England, and studied Sports and Exercise Science at Worthing College. She stays active through football, and in her free time, she enjoys cooking and travelling.

Fun Facts: This is her first time in America, and she made her debut in tier 4 English football at just 18 years old!

Sarah is from Scotland and previously attended City of Glasgow College, where she studied Professional Cookery. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, doing Sudoku, and playing the drums.

Fun Facts: When she was a kid, her nickname was “Bash” because she was clumsy and used to bash into things!

Gabi is from Wrocław, Poland, and studies Media, Culture, and Communication at Liverpool John Moores University. She stays highly active playing soccer for Vauxhalls FC as well as for her university team. In her free time, Gabi enjoys listening to music, reading poetry, gaming, and hanging out with her loved ones.

Fun Facts: She is bilingual, speaking Polish and English fluently (and is currently learning Spanish!).

Jaime is from London, England, and studies History at Queen Mary University of London. She stays active through netball, playing Varsity Netball at university.

Fun Facts: She is a Nidan Karate Black Belt and a Karate World Champion!

Amelia is from Scotland and studies Sport Coaching at Dumfries & Galloway College, Scotland. She stays highly active through soccer and track. In her free time, Amelia enjoys soccer, running, and hanging out with friends.

Fun Facts: This is her first time visiting the United States, and she has played football for many years as a fullback!

Res Life Group Thorns

Raina is returning to camp for her third summer and is from Phoenix, Arizona. She just graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor of Nutrition and is starting her Master of Nutrition and Dietetics at Virginia Tech in the fall. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and cooking.

Fun Facts: Raina played soccer for five years. She loves going to concerts and enjoys watching Bluey.

Thorns Cabin Counselors

LP is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and studies Dietetics at Iowa State University. She stays active by playing ultimate frisbee, and in her free time, she enjoys hammocking with her friends whenever she gets the chance.

Fun Facts: She has a yellow belt in judo and her college house has a black cat named Jammy!

Gabriela is from Lima, Peru, and studies Psychology at Davis and Elkins College, where she also plays soccer for her school team as a goalkeeper. In her free time, she absolutely loves to surf whenever she goes back home.

Fun Facts: She is a talented goalkeeper on the field and is also really good at cooking in the kitchen!

Caoimhe is from Swansea, Wales, and studies Sport Rehabilitation at the University of West England, Bristol. She stays active through playing football.

Fun Facts: She has skydived and she has even swum with dolphins!

Amina is from Beltsville, MD, United States, and studies Sculpturing & Business at Lycoming College. At college, she stays highly involved playing lacrosse and soccer, and is a member of the BSU (Black Student Union). In her free time, Amina enjoys thrifting, painting, hanging out with friends, and restaurant hopping.

Fun Facts: She is multi-talented on and off the field, having played 5 different sports growing up, and she loves to paint!

Ellie is from Glasgow, Scotland. She stays highly active through playing football and running, and in her free time, she loves exploring new places.

Fun Facts: She ran a half marathon this past May, and she has already visited 15 different countries!

Rylie is from Okeechobee, FL, United States, and studies Social Work at Cedarville University in Cedarville, OH, where she also plays on the varsity softball team. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, playing board games, reading, and spending time with friends.

Fun Facts: She was homeschooled almost her whole life, and she also grew up playing volleyball and basketball, as well as weightlifting!

Amelia is from New Zealand. She stays highly active through playing netball and touch rugby, and in her free time, she enjoys participating in sports, shopping, and traveling.

Fun Facts: She knows how to drive a jet ski and she has already traveled all around the US!

Vanessa is from Mooresville, North Carolina, and studies Biology/Biotechnology with a minor in Criminal Justice at Endicott College. At college, she stays highly involved as the Student Government President, and is part of the run club and intramural women’s soccer. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys crafting, running, and doing puzzles.

Fun Facts: She attended 3 high schools in 4 years and her favorite musician is Lorde!
