Sunday: Soccer Camp Arrival

Thank you families for making arrival day a smooth one despite the rain! We are excited for a great week ahead!

Opening Campfire

Campers learned many great skills on the field at their first soccer session of the week. They also had the chance to participate in many of the electives we offer. Later in the evening, it was time for the opening campfire where staff shared a variety of skits and songs. The goal of the night is to relax the campers and show them that Berky is a safe place to develop on and off the field. Later in the week, the girls will share their own contributions as a cabin at the ‘Halloween’ themed Closing Campfire.

Monday: Starting Soccer Training and Electives

It turned out to be gorgeous weather for morning electives and the first soccer session Monday.

Cabin Cup

Campers had a blast at their electives and at their afternoon training session before coming together as bunkmates to compete for the one and only…Cabin Cup. (Ahhhh!🙌) This week, campers participated in Aqua Olympics. Be sure to check out our pictures of all the craziness and fun that ensued.

Tuesday: Player Development at Berky

Campers spent the morning on the soccer fields for another high-energy training session. Afterward, the girls were off to electives.

Berky Tourney

We had enough time for the Berky Tourney reveal by the soccer coaches before the weather turned sour and postponed the tournament. The girls spent the rest of the evening in their cabins bonding with their bunkmates and counselors and enjoyed watching the USWNT at the Olympics compete in their match vs. Australia.

Wednesday: Girls Soccer Training and (S’)more

Players spent the morning on the soccer fields learning new skills from our coaches. They also had time to enjoy their morning electives.

Closing Campfire

In the afternoon, players were able to compete against each other in the Olympic-themed Berky Tourney. Later in the evening, they stepped on stage and performed together at tonight’s Halloween-themed Closing Campfire. Campers and staff alike were treated to skits, songs, and plenty of laughs… And s’mores were on the menu too! Delish! Check out the festivities using the link below!

Thursday: Final Training Sessions & Electives

Session VI has finally drawn to a close after a fun-filled week. The girls enjoyed the last of bonding with their friends at electives and training on the fields with their coaches.

Soccer Camp Departure

Players had their final soccer session to end out the week. We’re sad to say goodbye, but we hope to see all of our campers again soon! Use the SmugMug link below to see all of the photos from the week.

Bridge F

Campers had a fantastic Bridge weekend participating in more electives, having extended rest time, and enjoying the different inflatables we brought to camp.

Bridges are designed to connect sessions and give athletes recovery time after or between sessions to optimize peak performance, avoid overexertion, and bond with other campers. Read more about the development of our bridge program and how it’s helping future athletes succeed.
