Sunday: Soccer Camp Arrival

Thank you families for making Arrival Day a smooth one. Campers enjoyed meeting their bunkmates and cabin counselors on the rec deck to start off the day. We are excited for the week ahead!

Opening Campfire

Players enjoyed meeting their coaches and their first training session of the week as well as trying out some new electives.  Later in the evening, it was time for the opening campfire where staff shared a variety of skits and songs. The goal of the night is to relax the campers and show them that Berky is a safe place to develop on and off the field. Later in the week, the girls will share their own contributions as a cabin at the ‘Red White & Blue’ themed Closing Campfire.

Monday: Starting Soccer Training and Electives

It turned out to be beautiful weather for morning electives and the first soccer session of the day on the 4th of July.

Cabin Cup

Campers had a blast at their electives and at their afternoon training session before coming together as bunkmates to compete for the one and only…Cabin Cup. (Ahhhh!🙌) This week, campers participated in Holiday Madness this fourth of July. After Cabin Cup, it was time for sparklers to celebrate this holiday. Be sure to check out our pictures of all the craziness and fun that ensued.

Tuesday: Player Development at Berky

The girls spent their Wednesday morning training at the fields with their coaches.

Berky Tourney

Due to impending weather, the Disney Shootout themed Berky Tourney had to be pushed to the early afternoon. Catch all of the action shots from the tourney using the link below! In the evening, campers spent some time hanging out in our new lounge and making crafts in the art fort.

Wednesday: Girls Soccer Training and (S’)more

Campers spent their morning at electives cooking, fishing, and hanging out at the rec deck and in the lake before it was time to switch gears for another great soccer training session.

Closing Campfire

After soccer and electives, it was time for campers to step on stage and perform together at tonight’s “Stars and Striped” themed Closing Campfire. Campers and staff alike were treated to skits, songs, and plenty of laughs… And s’mores were on the menu too! Delish!

Thursday: Final Training Sessions & Electives

Each cabin met at the Moose for pictures in the morning before campers headed to their last elective and soccer sessions.

Soccer Camp Departure

After a fantastic week, Session III has come to a close. Goodbyes are hard, but we hope to see all of our campers again soon. Check out all of the Session III pictures using the SmugMug link below.

Bridge C

On Friday, Bridge campers went on a Bridge Trip to RambleWild which is a high ropes adventure course. Saturday was a relaxed day at camp including extended waterfront time and electives. Bridges are designed to connect sessions and give athletes recovery time after or between sessions to optimize peak performance, avoid overexertion, and bond with other campers. Read more about the development of our bridge program and how it’s helping future athletes succeed.
