Sunday: Soccer Camp Arrival

Thank you families for making our final Arrival Day of the summer a smooth one. Campers enjoyed meeting their bunkmates and cabin counselors on the rec deck to start off the day. We are excited for the week ahead!

Opening Campfire

Players enjoyed meeting their coaches and their first training session of the week as well as trying out some new electives.  Later in the evening, it was time for the opening campfire, with a special surprise. After some of our staff shared a variety of skits and songs, it was time for a surprise guest. Rising Country Music Singer Angie K joined us to play some music for everyone at camp.The goal of the night is to relax the campers and show them that Berky is a safe place to develop on and off the field. Later in the week, the girls will share their own contributions as a cabin at the ‘Neon Party’ themed Closing Campfire.

Monday: Starting Soccer Training and Electives

While it was a rainy morning, that didn’t stop our Berky Girls from training hard up at the fields before switching gears to participate in some rainy day electives.

Cabin Cup

Campers had a great afternoon at their electives and at another training session before coming together as bunkmates to compete for the one and only…Cabin Cup (Ahhhh!). The weather didn’t cooperate as we planned – but the girls had a blast at a “Guess Who” game.

Tuesday: Player Development at Berky

Wednesday morning, campers headed up to the fields for an early morning workout before another high-energy training session before heading off to electives.

Berky Tourney

Once afternoon electives and soccer were over, it was time for the Berky Tourney. Campers put their game faces on and gathered at the fields in the evening and came together to compete in this week’s “Movie Series” themed Berky Tournament. Check out the action shots using the SmugMug link below!

Wednesday: Girls Soccer Training and (S’)more

Campers spent the morning up at the fields training and learning new skills from our coaches, and then letting loose by having fun at electives.

Closing Campfire

Campers stepped on stage and performed together at tonight’s “Neon Party” themed closing campfire, our final one of the summer. Campers and staff alike were treated to skits, songs, and plenty of laughs… And s’mores were on the menu too! Delish! To close out the summer, our oldest campers participated in a rope burn.

Thursday: Final Training Sessions & Electives

Each cabin met at the Rec Deck for a photo together, and the campers enjoyed their last training session of the week with their coaches. They were able to squeeze in a little more time at their favorite electives too.

Soccer Camp Departure

After a fun-filled week, Session VIII has drawn to a close. We’re sad to say goodbye, but we hope to see all of our campers again next summer!
