Berky United: Positively Impacting the World Through Soccer

Having established itself as one of the country’s leading soccer camps, where girls discover their greatness on and off the field, Berky is taking on a new challenge – to positively impact the broader soccer community. We share that commitment with many like-minded individuals and organizations. Together, we are Berky United.

We are using our resources to enhance the lives of soccer-loving girls everywhere, regardless of socio-economic or other differences. Our efforts not only help the broader community, they also strengthen our own by fostering diversity and inclusion.

Berky United Partners and Efforts to Date

Camper Scholarship Programs

Working with our camp families and partner organizations, we identify and provide free or deeply discounted Academy experiences to girls who could not otherwise afford them. In 2024, we are tripling our scholarship funds. Among the recipients will be:

  • 2 female soccer players from Focus for a Future
  • 6-8 female soccer players from America Scores- Boston Scores
  • 2 female soccer players from Taconic Hills Middle School modified team
  • 4 female soccer players recommended by our Berky Families

Supporting Under-Resourced Youth Soccer

In summer 2023, we collected from camp families five large boxes of cleats and soccer gear. We donated them to JWS of Western Mass, a Springfield, Massachusetts affiliate of Soccer Without Borders. This summer we will again collect equipment from our Berky Families.

Coaching Opportunities

In Summer 2022 & 2023, we partnered with Right to Dream to give summer coaching opportunities to players in their program.

Team Development

In Summer 2024, we will host the Taconic Hills Girls Middle School Modified Team for a deeply discounted pre-season training camp.
